Welcome to the New California Republic. Our origins can be traced back to the survivors of Vault 15 around 2097. These survivors founded the town of Shady Sands and went on to cleanse the new world of the Khan raider tribe. The New California Republic was officially established in 2186 in Shady Sands with our first trial council government drafting the new constitution.
Three years later, in 2189, the Republic proper was voted into existence as a federation of five states organized around major settlements in the wastes. The states are Shady, Los Angeles, Maxson, Hub and Dayglow. Less than a century after its founding, the Republic is a model example of post-apocalyptic success and good ethics. We have risen from the ashes to create a new and more prosperous world. We are now reaching a population of over 700,000 citizens thanks in most to our great Head of State President Aaron Kimball.
We are now on the road to return to old world American values. The emergence of this new ‘Legion’ is a minor threat that the President guaranteed is only a small speed hump on the path back to greatness. Long Live President Kimball and Long live the NCR.
